Oil filter housing gasket.



Just a heads up. For all you E83 drivers out there with the N52 engine - although this may apply to other engines and models as well - if you notice that the area around the oil filter housing is pretty messy, you might want to consider changing the gaskets. If they have never been done - like mine - do them. If they are hard from age and leaking, chances are they may be leaking between the coolant side and oil side as well, introducing oil into the coolant - like mine - or maybe coolant into the oil - which I couldn't verify. So, don't procrastinate, get it done!
