De-Foulers or O2 simulator?

Hey everyone.

My car I was told by previous owner has gutted cats and am throwing a bunch of codes related to it, question is; has anybody used the spark plug de-foulers successfully? Would be the cheapest quickest way if so.

Secondly, O2sim.com appears to be sold out of their units and by the looks of it they aren't getting anymore and won't reply to emails, so where can I get one that has had success with other BMW owners? Need to clear these codes up for emissions in the spring, thanks a lot and look forward to getting some feedback!

You're making a lot of assumptions based on the previous owners statement. When he says he gutted them, he removed them, destroyed them, then reinstalled them - rather than put in a straight pipe section? Why would he do that?

Post the codes first and we'll start from there.

Simulators/test pipes and a tune isn't cheap.

If it is the catalytic converters; replace them...which isn't cheap either...

The car has (or had) working cats! You can always smell a catless car. And it will give a code for it too...Used cats are pretty cheap, fix it right the first time.
