The quicker it becomes unaffordable the quicker we'll switch/accept an alternative resource for the luxury most are addicted too to the point were they think they "NEED" it.
Why would you want that to happen? You'll just end up complaining even more just like the rest of the people out there would. And you would still drive. Good to see that you are an optimist. lol

I am a comuter 1 hour drive each way each day with no source of mass transit to get to work. I'll never complain about gas prices and will still always use premium. I'm also an optimist as well which is why I want to see 5-10 bucks a litre. Something Bigger & Better is just around the corner. Their was a revolution born back when coal/wood burning steam power turned into the internal combustion engine era which changed the economy drasticly, were do for another. Curius as to what's next, Hydrogen? Chemical? or maybe Electrical. IMO the public just need's a kick i the ass to get them started instead of just complaining about the obvious monopoly controling most.

With the 8 year high and a public gulible enough to pay through the nose, this type of petro-corporate gouging shafting, call whatever you want will go on for years.

This all started with the Cali electricity scam back in 2000, where in one hour electricity unit costs increased by 1000% and returned to normal the hour later.

They are playing the markets before they fold! The US public is so stupid they can't see it.

Bush's wars are instrumental in distracting people into believing that another bogey phantom in Irans nuke program are valid reasons for stealing trillions of dollars form the publics pockets over the next 10-15 years!

I cant select something on the poll list, because its all above 120... it seems to me that the assumption was that this summer was going to be the year of the gas gauge.... but seeing as tonight i saw gas for 70.5... i'd say thats quite the opposite... Although, after midnight, on my way home, all stations jumped to 90.0 even... thats a 20 cent hike... whats the deal with that?

Can someone convert your gas prices for me? $3.25 is about the cost of a gallon where I live. Oh and I think thats regular gas, I think premium is close to $4.

I think if gas prices went up really high then the credit biz would skyrocket too because people will start putting it on credit since they cant afford it but they need it to get to work and then they will just downfall in debt.

It really sucks how huge gas is in our lives yet we can't just switch to a new source because our whole lives revolve around it, and people with power only care about themselves.

well for regular gas right now it's $0.90cdn/litre, so that's about $3.41cdn/gallon, for Sunoco94 it would be $1.04cdn/litre so that's about $3.94cdn/gallon, looks like gas might be the same or even cheaper than the US right now.

Canadian Gallon, Or American?? Even then we still pay less if we buy it in the states with the conversion. We save a bit so it's nothing to ride home about.

Just outside of Ottawa it went down to 96.9 and you should have seen the line-up, freaking hilarious. It was at 1.13, that's why. I'll still buy my gas in Ottawa around the 0.94 mark.

As for "them" saying $1.20 by the end of summer, they say that every year. Last year it was $1.10 and we never came close, the year before they said $1.00 by the end of summer, once again never came close. The gas these days sucks, but what are you going to do? I'm not trading in my car for some ugly prius, so I can save money.

You'll see cheap gas prices for a couple months at least.
Sorry, you'll have to copy and paste the links.
