Any word?

I've noticed twice now (very far apart) that when I drive downtown to pick up the wifey that when you turn the car off and sit for approx 10 minutes, it does have a longer start (probably 2 secs) instead of basically the half second it takes to turn the engine over.

I have been having the same problem, sort of.the car would start fine but under hard acceleration it would go into limp mode with jb4 turned on,wouldnt happen on stock settings.figured it was the coils as i am at 150k+. so ordered and installed new coils.
the next morning the check engine light came on.i have a jb4 so i ran the diagnostic option and came back as misfire cylinder 4 and 6.put the old coils into 4 and 6 and now i have 29cc code which is random misfires.so i swap all the old coils back and no change.
The car is getting worse each morning startup.so i ordered plugs and changed them.same thing.
Then i notice there us a crack in the valve cover.i jb weld it and install a new valve cover gasket to see if that is what is causing the problem.nope still starting and running like shit but only until the car warms up?
Then on friday i start the car and it is still running rough and the check engine light starts blinking.i gave up and had the car towed to an indy shop here in Halifax.Phil at ISI Automotive is gonna look at it tommorow.fingers crossed.

cylinder 4 misfiring

check engine light comes on after cold start in the mornings, runs like a tractor...check the code..."cylinder 4 misfiring", anyways thought it might be the #4 ignition coil, checked them all and no issues with the coils. Then it's an injector or a spark plug, bought some bmw fuel system cleaner, poured it in and voila the misfire code is gone, and no more running like a tractor after cold start...we'll see how long this lasts for!
