05 325ci price questions!

Hey, so i've been looking for a 05 325 coupe..and seems there are very few auto ones left around Canada.

But I found a "demo" (or as the sales person likes to say it was a BMW Canada executive's car)..

The dealer gave me a hypothetical price of $47,575.00, but insisted it's open to negotiation, but wanted me to submit a offer first???..so i'm not quite sure what this car is worth.

Here are the specs:
2005 325ci
In service date: January 6, 2005
11,303 kms
Steptronic
Silver Grey (metallic)
Premium Package
Ski bag/fold down seats
leatherette

I think the hypothetical price is pretty high considering this car has about 11k on it and is about a year old.

Any suggestions to what a reasonable price to pay for this is?

The black book value is $39,800.

You have plenty of room to negotiate.

Hmm..how much room? I'm in Alberta and prices on used BMW's are still pretty steep.

They're asking too much... I think you should negotiate with them, and hopefully you can get the price to low 40's.

3 series machines only have the fake stuff unless it's an M or you pay for the real stuff...

Just another BMW marvel.... Gawd they make stupid choices... like having GM build their tranny's!

So, they offered the car to me @ $44,450..which my dad thinks is waay too much still......I think my dad is planning to lowball them (or pay Blackbook @ most) and I doubt they'll take that so I guess I won't be getting a 325ci!

you can probably get it lower since its a demo. I just got my 325ci this thursday, also 05 and its about $47k, but mine is brand new with sport package as well as premium package... so I think you can get it for a bit lower

Personally I wouldn't pay more than high 30's.. max 40 for the car.
Dealerships will always charge you 7 to 10K more than what you should be paying. At least that was my experience when looking for my 330ci back in late may.
Best of luck.

Soo..
Our plan was to pay max 39 for it..and we offered 37,500 as a starting point
they lowered it to $43g's and said their cost was 42 BLAH BLAH BLAH
we were like..get real...how stupid do you think we are...

he kept on emphasizing how this isnt a used car but a demo..and we're like..uh, theres no difference there..it's been driven, period.
