I work in Gravenhurst, and just as I pulled onto highway 11, there was a big line of Miatas going up Cooper's Falls Road today. They picked the right time... the rain has cleared and its sunny right now.

Hope you guys get same. Will have to come another time. *SIGH* Stupid bills and having to work.

Can someone provide details, I am coming 200km from the east, was hoping to meet in Orillia at lunch stop, but found 3 subways close to HWY 11, one countrystyle on Atherly road, is that the place to meet? Anyone else meeting at the lunchstop? or can someone pm me a cell# so I can make contact, I'd hate to drive 200 km, miss you, then drive 200 km back....

I went, I saw, I conquered. Leaping out of bed at 7:30 I decided to get an early start, maybe it would thin the traffic out a bit. I also went solo meaning I was free to pass people without 40 BMWs following me. So much fun!

I drove my E46, decided in case there were any gravel or ground clearance problems it's better to find out today in a stock car rather than 2" off the pavement in the M tomorrow.

This part wasn't even planned. It's not even on the route handouts. I don't care. I spotted something interesting on the GPS while I was driving and decided turning around might be worth it. The road winds and winds through these trees for kilometres, just a fantastic setting. Then it opens up to this:

There's quite a bit of space in that spot, if 40 or less cars show up (and it's not too wet out) we will stop here for a (hopefully) awesome group photo. I used the time to dry my palms.

Looks like the Crossfire club (can you believe such a thing exists? Bizarre.) has a badass organizer too. Lucky bootleg-SLKs.

Bet you'd never think a BP could look that good. Shame it'll be too cold for the patio, but I did speak with the staff and they will be setting aside the entire front portion of the bar for us (20-30 seats, plus more if needed). After 6 hours in the cars this should be a great way to unwind.

Nah. I removed Southwood, as fun as it is, beginning with last year's cruise. During 2012's event I hit frame rail, diff, and eventually broke an exhaust flange straight off because of how high the lumps and bumps are. I've also been told that the top portion of it is currently dug-up and gravel. Maybe they'll fully refinish it for next year. That's how we enjoyed it from 2009-2011.

Here's what you need: 1555 Hwy 11 N, Shanty Bay, ON L0L 2L0.

This is the lunch stop plaza, which if you're heading North is on your right side and contains Petro-Canada, Country Style, Subway, and Macs stores. We will arrive here just after 1pm and depart at 2. See you there!

I'm thinking of taking the jerrycans off of my Landcruiser, I calculated 803Km roundtrip, 15 litres per 100 km, = 120 litres....I may have to draft....the 350Z is too small, I need to tuck in behind a 7 series...
