Tire Restriction?

Hi,

Looking to get more info on what size tire/wheel i can use on my car.

Current Specs:
2011 335xi M/Pkg

255/35/R18 92W RearPass
255/35/R18 92W RearDriver

225/40/R18 88W FrontDriver
225/40/R18 90W FrontPass

1. I'm interested in getting 19" inch rims+tires not sure what size tires/rim combo would work on the car.
2. Would you recommend going to 19" inch over 18" OEM?
3. Are the aftermarket rims worth it or cause any issues to the car? *i was told they would probably affect the cars drivetrain.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Ps. If you have any rims that would fit the car, please let me know.

Thanks!

In terms of tire size, you want 225/35/19 front and 255/30/19 rear. This will maintain the correct rotational diameter for your XDrive system.

In terms of aftermarket rims, stick with reputable brands and you’ll be fine. Replica wheels usually tend to be garbage.

Perfect! Thank you.

I've heard alot of people using VMR 710s, Avant, and BBS so i will look into those with the sizes you mentioned.

For now, i'm going to use the 193M OEM with winter tires and buy a new set of rims in Spring.

VMR and Avant are replicas/low-grade wheels.
