This is a great thread, glad to see erryone helping out.

I don't know if you've looked here but I drive by this place almost everyday and he always has high end low km vehicles.

www.nazcar.com

here's their inventory list, not much on there now though that meet your requirements

FML I just came across this. http://autos.yahoo.com/used-cars/fer...i&distance=any

Yes I did miss that point, danm

But I think my point still stands.

I mean, nothing against stancefactory in general or anything like that but I'd rather get my car checked over by people who have 25 years EXPERIENCE with BMWs as opposed to being 25 years old themself.

TSB? Please explain/advise.

The car is basically sold on a handshake right now, we're still finalizing the details and the paperwork.

The airbag was repaired, a couple new halo bulbs were replaced, the rattle was said to be fixed by BMW Toronto. ANNNNNNNND after driving it yesterday, it's back. The dealership claimed it's not a window regulator and all it needed was a 'wipe down' of the seals - I'll dig up the work order and get the exact wording later. I will be taking it to another BMW centre to try and force the issue.

Alright so the car is now officially mine. I'm in the process of cleaning it up and making a post with pics.

In the meantime, what dealer should I take the car to since the warranty is up at the end of this month and I'd like to get it as much TLC as possible...

BMW Toronto neglected to fix the window regulator and I'd prefer not to deal with them - I've heard good things about Maranello, should I go there? Endras BMW in Durham is the closest to me, is it worth trying them first? TIA

TSB - Technical Service Bulletin, I dug this out (could this be your issue?)

Window regulator, Endras can fix that, and if the issue is the same from that link, you need to do more work with the dealership.

Enjoy your new ride...

You could also try an independant shop who knows people in the service dept. at the dealers... I know a guy that can diagnose your car and then send it in for warranty work if he finds anything as he used to be a shop foreman at a few dealers. His name is on my website, it's the first garage on the list.

Thanks for all the help guys, for the most part maxbimmer has been one of the best resources at my disposal during my search for a car. I will definitely check out the independent shops in the area and hopefully get these little things solved before my warranty runs out, fingers crossed.

IMHO all the window regulators sound a bit rattly, but the rear driver's side is by far the worst. If i crack the window open one millimeter the noise seems to subside, dunno if that means anything. I can live with some normal noise inside the cabin, I'm aware it's a 5-6 year old car with km's already piled on. Can't wait to ditch these gay run flat tires too, I'm guessing that will improve the feel/noise on the road, it'll likely have to wait till next summer tho

Excuse my newbness, I just read through that whole thread and it's nothing but a catfight. Is the actual TSB listed somewhere I can easily find it?
