Engine work advice!

Gents,

I?ve been off Max for years and my e36 has been sitting for a good 3 years.

I?d like this to be the year I get her back on the road.

I have an M50 with 320km on it and an AA SC kit waiting to be installed.

- Who should I have work on the motor to ensure it’s in shape to FI?
- What’s my ballpark budget?

I’m not looking for anything crazy. Just want my car back up and running smoothly with some added kick. I believe I was about 275whp with the additions I had before storing her, so the FYI will not make it fast but quick is all I expect!

Cheers!

-Geoff

I'm curious what you did to get 275whp out of an M50 without forced induction. That's incredible.

I made a typo on the internet - it?s that easy!

Haha - my bad. I think it was 175whp! I?ve been driving much faster cars since I parked my e36, so 275 sounded more like it.

But who knows. I?m going from memory for over 10 years ago!
