Talking Police: BMW Crashed Into Tree

Heard today on the way to school. BMW Crashed Into Tree

I still dont understand why it made news, the guy is not important,
plus where the *uck is ATKINSON, N.H. anyways. And why BMW, in the report, because if it was a Buick it would have kissed the guy to death during the collision???????????????
Have a good day, everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hear ya, its like wtf!? off the top of my head: talking to this girl i know (smokin milato chick) about tickets shes telling me about cop jumping out of the roadside with the radar/laser - let her passed but pulled the bimmer behind her - said she was doing 11 over tops
other guy i know was recently driving out to his properties in nb, said a cop passes him & see's in his review the hard u-turn, sirens - he thinks that can't be for me i'm only doing 9over!? yep it was for him in his Bimmer.

my own stories turn down a street 2 blocks from house, 1st intersection i come to has a kid being pulled on his skateboard by a kid on his bike & a car backing out of a driveway -midnight. a car was approaching, passes me its a cop, hard uturn - pulled me over in my driveway, 2blocks away - lights on. skipped all them & went after me in my Bimmer - aparently wanted to see if my lighs were blue few years before that i get stopped for nothing, 1st words out of rookie jackboots mouth was 'You must be a criminal driving a car like this' of course i was in my, 13year old, $4000 dollar, rusty, Bimmer!

-
so anyways though a person might say its actually a social engineering ploy of divide & conquor: class warfare. eat the rich type thing definitely more a worry in the states, what with the letting in of 35+million illegal mex immigrants over 30years, that then get ammnestied into citizens, that were raised in some cases hating the u.s wanting to reclaim it for mexico, voting Left for socialism. la raza , ms13, etc. but many would probably just label that person a paranoid schizo

but back to cops - I know many just dislike everybody equally & just want to suck your wallet & cavity search you for weed!

see my friend in a subaru

i dunno, its wierd, for the last 3 years i was pulled over/approached(i only have 1 15 over ticket for the countless times of being pulled over.) atleast once a month. But since last november, i havnt been pulled over at all. Just the other night its 3:30am and i pull up to a red light on tomken and b-thorp heading south. The streets are EMPTY, out of nowhere 4 cruisers come to the intersection from all driection. I was tripping balls thinking 110% im getting pulled over, might aswell just step out now....i didnt, they just stopped at the lights and then went their seperate ways.

Dock Ottawa cop 15 days pay, hearing told
By KENNETH JACKSON, Ottawa Sun

Last Updated: September 14, 2010 12:31pm

An Ottawa police officer guilty of discreditable conduct should lose up to 15 days pay for a car crash that happened more than two years ago, a police discipline hearing heard Tuesday.

Const. Umer Khan put the public at risk when he crashed his BMW into a lamppost speeding down a wet Riverside Drive on May 31, 2008 said Ottawa police lawyer Insp. Scott Nystedt.

For that he should be penalized 10 to 15 days pay Nystedt told hearing officer Terence Kelly.

Lawyer Bill Carroll disagreed and said Khan has been a “terrific” face of the force to the public and should only be docked one or two days at most.

Carroll submitted a stack of letters from the public, superiors and performance reviews that indicated Khan is a stand-up police officer.

Nystedt also said he has been told of Khan’s stellar attitude and work ethic from his superiors and even though he doesn’t expect to see Khan before another hearing, the police service’s image was tarnished and the public must see the matter is being taken seriously.

Khan had left a Manotick party with two other officers and it was around midnight when he lost control and struck the lamppost. The car came to a stop nearly 90 metres away and was “demolished,” Sgt. Guy Thivierge testified previously.

Thivierge led the investigation and said an officer informed him another vehicle was involved.

He was also told there were reports of street racing.

Khan was charged with careless driving but pleaded guilty to speeding and driving with bald tires. He was fined about $400 and the car was a writeoff.

Khan lost three days pay in 2007 for failing to file an arrest warrant, swearing at a member of the public and telling staff at a drop-in centre to use physical violence against a youth.

This followed a 2005 incident where Khan had a loaded gun put to his head by a dangerous offender.

The gun misfired and Khan was later diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder.

Kelly will make his ruling Nov. 2.
