sportauto Drift Challenge on 23. and 24. May 2014 in Hockenheim

Beeing in Hokcenheim with 62 other Top Drifters from Europe is always something special.
Since 15 year this event on the famous Hockenheimring is THE DRIFT EVENT.

During the training which was only 40 minutues, there was pooring rain. Followed by a wet qualifing in the beginning, after 50% of the drivers the track begun to dry. With place 20 in the qualification, not a very good result, but qualified for the TOP 32 Twin Battles :-)

In the TOP 32 Twin Battle competing against Sven Burkhard from Switzerland
was a difficult battle, won by re-run. Then in Top 16 against the HP powerfull car from Peter van Horick from Belgium was thight, but a win. in Top 8 lost against Florian Oberwahrenbrock in his powerfull Nissan.

At the end Place 7, which is good considering the strong competition.

On Saturday the we had the big entry contest in the famous Sachs curve, the goal was to go spectacular sideways, but first initiate the drift into the other direction. Here as well Place /.

In the morning, spectators had the chance of a ride on the Co-Seat. this was lots of fun and exciting.

A great weekend with a kind of weather, shows, battles and 18.000 happy specatators.

Have fun watching the Video.
