Crashed 645

is all you can really do.

"A man in his 20s is facing impaired driving charges after a luxury car crashed into a pole and bus shelter Friday morning.

The BMW 645 was travelling north on Carnforth Road at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control at a curve approaching Lawrence Avenue East.

Police said the car veered off the road and plowed into a light standard, exposing some live wires, and then crashed through an unoccupied bus shelter at the intersection shortly before 6 a.m.

The driver was arrested about a block from the scene. He is facing a charge of impaired driving, but additional charges are likely, police said.

A female passenger was treated in hospital for minor injuries.

Shortly after the crash, a person who lives in the area called police to report the BMW missing. Police are now investigating whether the driver had the owner's permission to drive it.

Lawrence Avenue's eastbound lanes have reopened to traffic.

Because of the crash, the 91 Woodbine bus was diverting around the scene via Victoria Park Avenue, Sloane Avenue and Sweeney Drive, missing four bus stops."

No it's a 645, look at the engine, the grey cover is a V8, an M6 would've been black (V10)

For a second I thought the driver ran away then made a call pretending his car was stolen so he wouldn't get arrested.

Mommies and Daddies, don't get cars for your rich spoiled kids, or let them drive yours. I wouldn't have trusted myself when I was under 25 with a car like that.

Then again he could be a drug dealer... lol

Performance one step at a time.

Definitely not an M6. People driving M6s don't have any money left over to drink and drive - it all goes to gas...
