H&R Springs

How harsh are the H&R Race for daily driver E46 330ci M sport? Should I just go with Sport although I love the feel of stiffer handling and wouldn't mind an additional drop...

not going to lie to you, it's pretty harsh. But I love it!

I'm on H&R Race right now on a 330Ci Sport. It is very low, so take that into account as you will have to go at angles for steep driveways and speed bumps will be your enemy. That said, it's not that big a deal for me. I love the super low stance and the ride isn't that bad. With stock shocks it is quite bouncy on uneven roads. That is to be expected when you lower a car without putting matching stiffer shocks to dampen the reduced suspension travel.

H&R Sport may be a little easier on your stock shocks than Race, but the drop isn't as aggressive. Search on for more info. This topic has been beaten to death over there.

The dampening of your shocks are going to have more of an impact on ride quality than springs.

I have H/R springs i want to sell if any body is interested. The only thing is......

2 x frnts are RACE about 5k on it
2 x rears are SPORT about 15k on it.

We can make a deal if any one wants them as the set as the other set of springs are currently on my car.
