Smashed my car lastnight ;(

i was coming off the 427 ramp which leads on to the 401 heading east bound when just after i finsih going around the bend the wheel starts to shake for a second and the next think i know i'm doing 360's right on the middle of the 401 at about 3:30AM

I have to say that i am very lucky to be alive.. had there been a transport behind me i probably wouldnt be here writing this right now.

Thank god i never hit anyone or that someone didnt hit me but over all it probably was the most frightening shit i've ever been through in my life...

Pics of the car:

I think it either had to do with a control arm or one of the front tires locked up and sent me for a spin.

Not sure yet.. need to see what the insurance company might say....might just write it off as there is a lot more damage that the pictures dont show like a bent rear axle, pushed in front tire, some damage to the trunk (doesnt open anymore), possibly a bent frame.

Sorry to hear that notjoe. Hope everything goes well for you.

Just think...it could of been a lot worse.

If you are going to take it through insurance, i suggest European Autobody. They do great work.

Just so long as ur ok.

Must be heartbreaking to see you car like that though.
I know how it is to see your beloved car all messed up like that.

You may be right that they'll likely write it off.

But remember, there's lots other Bimmers out there............

I actually cried when i got out of my car and looked at the damage done to it but like you guys say, cars can be replaced but people cannot.

Main thing is me and the GF are ok..probably have some of my mods/box/amp for sale soon..

As for everything which happened, it could have been way worse than what happened... as i was spinning if my tires would have caught something in the road i would have rolled the beast and surely caused a lot more damage to me and the Mary (GF)
