Hi all!

Glad to see that everyone was safe. I got a call around 1:30pm from my cousin who heard on the radio that there was an accident near Ford Drive and that there was BMW's parked on the shoulder.

I called Saj328 asap to find out what happened. I am glad to see that everyone made it thru. The cruise looked like it was fun apart from the accident. I wanted to come but I was in bed with a sore throat. I will be there next time for sure.

Regards,
Sanj

dave man sorry bout ur car, but it shows us all that speeding is all fun and games until some1 rips their spoiler off and kills their car after they crash! but i dont think saying 120km/h speed limit will really work as things change on the road...for example, when randy (empowerd) and charlie (bimmersport) jus passes bruce (bliss) goin like 240km/h! but it was a fun cruise..thanx for organizing this dave! good luck with ur next car...hopefully ur crx will come

Glad to see everyone's ok, it sucks about the accident though. The guy with the Cavalier is Rob, he came up from Kitchener - Waterloo with me, he's on the board as SpikedLemon, hope he's ok I haven't talked to him since we left Square One. Let's all be a little more careful from now on.......'cause sh*t does happen....

Well if I didn't purpously throw my car into the guard rail I think my car would have looked like that red Grand Am. I'm kinda stiff today so I used a vacation day for tomorrow to go get checked out. SpikedLemon! How are you feeling? Hope you are alright! Sent ya a PM!

L8R,
Dave

Thumbs down Storm Vs. Cavalier

Those Geo drivers, damn they're just OUT OF CONTROL!

Dave, I'm ok - the car is going to be towed back home monday morning to my dealer (they've got a huge shop over here) and get it all fixed up. Don't kill yourself over this one - I'm ok, you're ok and we're all grateful that we wore seatbelts.

My thoughts right now:

"Damn, I'm glad I toasted the OEM brakes and upgraded to the carbon brakes and slotted rotors."

"I never did like the Geo Storm"

"Damn, I'm glad I toasted the OEM brakes and upgraded to the carbon brakes and slotted rotors."

"I think I'll try and get them to put in the Toyota Cavalier rear turn signals"

"Damn, I'm glad I toasted the OEM brakes and upgraded to the carbon brakes and slotted rotors, otheriwise I would have smacked the BMW in front of me real hard"

"I hate my rental - AUTOMATIC CARS SUCK!!!"

Dave we had a really good time You did a great job organizing the meat. It was too bad what happened to your car and the Cavalier but the important thing is no one was heart. We were happy to see you again when you joined us @ Boston pizza.

but I nver said he was driving fast..He blames his brakes....But I think he must have been driving eratically .....
Rob: Lay off, last thing he needs is some prick bitching at him for hitting my car. It wasn't your precious M3 that was hit, it was MY CAR!

Besides, out of the group, he was one of the more well behaved.

But I do blame his brakes and tires - if they were better he would have been able to stop in time.

If you were in the traffic you would have understood how things were but since you werent you're not able to fully grasp what happened.

With the way the traffic flow picked up speed then having everyone hit the breaks, it could have been me hitting someone or someone hitting me, im just glad that i wasnt involved in anything (knocks on wood).

As for Daves driving, i dont think that had anything to do with it since he was probably the most calm one on the road compared to most of us
