H1 Bulbs

I just recently purchased some euro/angel eye headlights and i am curious to know if this page is a good deal on some H1 bulbs, or if there is any other place to get H1 bulbs cheaper, or of better quality?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/E-Mar...QQcmdZViewItem

Thanks

H1's are generally not as good as "real" headlight bulbs...H1s are usually made for fog light application...

cheapest would be at walmart (cheapo bulbs)...saves shipping and such...

I would disagree, BMW factory euro headlights use H1 bulbs.
In canada we get the cheap US version.

So in other words, any H1 bulbs good or bad will fit for my headlights?

I would use GE, Hella, or Osram for your aplication.
Or switch to hids.
Stuff like toucan and eurolight have been known to melt wires.
Just remember you get what you pay for.
And yes any h1 bulb will fit.

I found some 9005 Hella High Performance Xenon Blue Headlight Bulbs (high beams) but still looking for some 9006 Hella High Performance Xenon Blue Headlight Bulbs (low beams) on ebay. Do i have to get a different bulb for the high and low beam or no?

9006 is your low beam and 9005 is your high beam, but if you bought euro angel eye headlights, scrap 9005 and 9006 as they use H1's. Check to make sure first before purchasing your H1's or others. If you have fogs they are H1's as well.

Spend a little more and get some H1 Osram silverstars.

Ok, to end the confusion ill make this easier on all of us.
I bought this set of headlights off ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...mZ170083295356

I am going to buy some Hella 9500 H1 Bulbs for the High Beams and also some Hella 9600 H1 Bulbs for the low beams, as the headlight harness (see page) is ready for them, and other H1's but i was recommended Hella for H1's. The bulbs im going to purchase are not for foglights!

You will have to bare with me as my headlights/bulb knowledge isnt the best.

Will the set up im goin to have work???

Thanks

I have the same headlights from the same buyer. I used the H1 bulbs, I don't think you can fit the 9006 or 9005 in the actual hole where the bulbs go. You might want to check it out first.

That harness goes on the back of the headlights, converting the 9005/9006 to H1.

You totally lost me on this comment. How is H1 not a "real" headlight bulb? So many european cars have these stock as low beams, and I believe it's the first 'standard' headlight bulb.
