Short shifter question.

Ok...question to people who did change the stock shifter to a short throw one.
i'm getting an OEM E36 M3 shifter in couple of days. just want to know if i need anything for the install. any extra bushings, clips, nuts , anything like that.. because i'm getting just the shift rod.. it's not a kit, i'm getting it from someone.
