I know, I know, this is a . But I felt the 7-series section needed a new post, and I found this article interesting ... especially the part that says "The tank's thermal insulation is so astoundingly good that BMW calculates a block of ice inside it would take 13 years to melt."

The technology is not perfect, but at least promising research in alternative fuels is being done. And I mean, what better venue for such research than a BMW 7er???

Glad you enjoyed it Hound. I'm not sure if that exact link was posted before, but I'm pretty sure other links about the hydrogen projects at BMW have been posted.

Now, if only I could get on the list of "test pilots".
