What about this setup?

I talking with Brad "Shifty" Couvillon on the form. He suggested a simillar setup to 325i head on a 325e bottom but not using the actual head 325i head. He suggested using the stock crank, rods, pistons and stock head. Replace the rod bearings and make sure everything is in order. If needed have the crank balanced. Have the cylinder walls honed. Use a 325i cam instead of the performance eta cam. Use325i valve springs, and 325i valves. Have the head ported for the bigger 325i valves.

Run a 325i wiring harness and 325i computer. Run a 3 bar FPR (which I will have you modify to 3.5 as suggested). Run the M30 AFM.

In your option, would this give me the higher redline and bottom end torque?

thanks again

What kinda RPM's can you get out of 325e's? What would you need to do to get 7200? 8000?

How much power does the 325e get after the 325i head swap?
