Bumper Impact Strip

Anyone now how to remove the impact strip from the bumper? I want to pull mine and repaint it in the black color as mine is starting to show wear. I am afraid that if I just pull it, it may crack or break.

As far as i know it simply snaps into place so there is no special way to remove it just pry it off gently. if it does break its a good opportunity to go with euro sides.

Easiest way is to take the complete bumper off, and pop the tabs out from the back.. this way they won't break, unless you are doing something terribly wrong. And for the rear bumper strip, you HAVE to take the bumper off, because theres is a small torx bolt on the front part of the rear bumper. DON'T just rip it off, unless you wanna buy new trim, otherwise its fubared.
