First post for me/3.38 diff installed/thanks Bimmersport

Hello everyone. Thanks for making this a great forum. I have used the information here extensively before finally buying my 01 330Ci about three weeks ago.

Anyway, I did my first mod today at Bimmersport and it was the installation of a 3.38 differential. First impressions are good. I haven't had a chance to really try it out because I had to rush back to work and there was a lot of traffic. I know a lot of you have wondered how high the car revs at highway speeds and I saw the tach at 2900 rpms for 100km/h and about 3400 rpms for 120km/h. City driving is much improved and on the highway the extra revs are not too bad. Being a family man my days of high speed runs are over so the higer revs actually kind of plays in the mind's background to make me go slower (save gas). Please PM me if you have specific questions and I will try my best to answer them.

I would also like to give a huge thumbs up to Charlie at Bimmersport. He has to be one of the nicest automotive technicians I have met. I highly recommend him to anyone interested.

Lastly, thank you Cabrio and Quickid for helping me through the newb ignorance.
