popout or no popout?
my 2door has no popout rear windows...(by popout I mean the windows can be popped open, like on my dads dodge pickup )

but one of my parts cars does...


so..the question is..do I swap them? or leave them...my AC doesn't work..I'm thinking this would cool the car off quicker next summer...




ps..I'm tinting the windows next week...replies/thoughts/opinions ASAP would be appreciated

I like the popouts. I wanted to put power ones from my dads minivan. small little mechanism that would fit in the pillars and then run switches on them.

Ok i'll take the popout from the parts car and stick them in my IS thanks for all the input

As for TINT...

i was thinkin 20% tint..I think thats the legal limit in this town...friend of mine just had it done to her black mk4golf...looks noice

lower the number the darker the tint right?

right.

higher the number the LIGHTER the tint.
25 is darker than 35 and theres very little difference...my front is 35 and my back is 25 i think...

I believe the number is the percentage of light that is allowed in. So 20% means it allows like 20% shine through!

haha?
um..and I see they have chrome strips on them painted black(thick paint)

the question is...does this chrome pop off like regular chrome trim? does anybody else have poppout windows?

popopoppopopopopopopopppopopoppopopopop!

oh..reason I'm asking-I can get my hands on shadowline trim from a 318is---ohhhh...and is the shadowline trim compatible with poppouts?
