What kind of paint should I be using to paint the taillights same colour? ITs for the same car... how much prep work is needed?

Thanks

I searched and found some threads about it, but do you paint the whole thing? or jjust the non-red parts?

I'm pretty sure you just paint the non red parts because if you paint the red parts it'll make the red darker

Testor's Candy Apple Red clear coat. Paint the outside of the orange part and thin coat over the red as well to blend. I'll look perfect...trust me...I've done it

Hobby Lobby or any hobby shop should have Testors spray paint.
