? Convertable Question ?

hey guys,

my soft top isn't in the best of shape and there's a little rip on the inside and a couple places on the inside that are loose... and things like that drive me nuts!! (from the outside, the top looks perfect... but from the inside u can tell its worn...)

does anyone know of a reputable place that can do repairs on the soft top, completely replace it, etc?

or do u guys think it'll be a better option to just replace it altogether??

any advice is appreciated!

I've done both.
Replaced it outright, and have had them repaired and replaced.

In both cases, the top will have to come off and go into the shop. Takes around 2-3 days for them to do it. Although there are a lot of good shops out there, it will never be stitched the same as stock, and there may be imperfections. Also note that actually removing the soft top is a pain in the ass, and requires two people. Be careful not to lose any nuts, bolts, or clips... and remember where everything goes.

If you're a perfectionist, then look into replacing the entire top. Will run you around $2000 used.
