got screwed - ordered bulbs dont fit!

Hey all,

FYI I ordered 9006 HB4 blue visions from for my 2002 325i fog lights. They arrives in 5-7 days just like they said. Shipping+taxes came to $10.

Got Autohaus to install them, and they didnt fit!

I asked parts to pull out one of their fog light bulbs for my model car. Compared them. The parts right ie. 9006 HB4. The connector looks the same. Its the lower portion of the bulb thats different. Ordered one is round, while the BMW part is rectangular! I can not believe this!!!

Its amazing that a part can not fit while it has the same model #.

If you go to autohaus to install light bulbs you deserve bulbs that don't fit j/p

It is 9006 HB4 for fog lights, that's for sure, but it also can be that screw up your order, or packaging was wrong. 9006/Hb4 is a standard, so that bulb has to have same sizes and everything to fit as any other companies 9006/hb4

I figured it was easier to go to Autohaus and pay them 20-25$ than to get hassled - washing down the car, finding tools, finding an underground garage, and getting messed up in the end.

Powerbulbs sent me a 9006 HB4 for sure. Its on the packaging. It seems the bulb is only ever so slightly different... its probably the part that 'clicks in' or lets you trist the bulb so that it holds in place is different.
