CDV Delete Mod

Just got the CDV delete mod done yesterday from RMP and it's make a WORLD of a difference.

Shifting is sooooo much smoother and the overall driving expereince has greatly improved. It's a 15-20 min job and it's well worth getting done.

I never heard of this mod up until recently so i'm not sure if i was the only one left in the dark. For those who havent done it yet. DO IT NOW!

I haven't heard of this, but i'm very intrigued to do this!

Did the 95 325's have a CDV? Cause the 328 feels a little softer compared to my 325!

Wish I could tell you but i'm not sure. Everything you need to know about it is pretty much covered in that link... funny thing is the only car that doesnt have it is the M5

.. just not sure about e36's.

If you find you have one remove it and you'll thank me later. My car shifts so smooth it's unbelievable.

I never heard it being mentioned on this forum (mostly e36 owners) but I have on other bimmer forums. So it's possible the e36's may not have one???

I want to do this so bad, I thought it was me not being used to my 540 when I bought it. Now I realize it wasn't just me the whole time.. Oh yes, my wife has made fun of me as well as one of my friends on my shifting techniques in my 540!

LOL i know what you mean! I was like wtf, I need to take classes and relearn standard. It should only cost you 20-30 minutes of labour from your mechanic. But once you do it, trust me, you'll swear you have a new clutch. The gears slip in like butter. Best mod ever!
