Auto tranny fluid change... shops anyone?

i have a 1998 540ia and i want the tranny fluid changed, can anyone recemmond a shop that can do this for a reasonable price???

50% ur tranny won't shift at all.

my uncle, I was going to do it, then Charlie at Bimmersport told me about 'em, then I went on Bimmerforums checked, then my uncle did it last week on his 540, and he's one of those 50% that don't shift at all.

I have no idea WHY, but do a fluid check first, if the fluid is really low and rediculously continmated, then I'd consider it, cause BMW said they are lifetime fluid for a reason.

personally, if the shop/dealership asks you to sign a waiver form, then I wouldn't do it simply cause it is quite a large risk.

funny thing..Charlie changed the fluid in my 540 and he never told me about that...i've had it done a year ago and it still shifts like it did before...
