Exclamation subframe FIXED!

thanks to eveyones info...i went ahead and did the e36 subframe failure FIX...on the ground might i add!!! lol wasnt to bad...didnt take to long and even made my own plates! anyone can do it in there garage! for sure.....so the $500 is comming along.

500=for the car
150=for rear springs(stock new)
80=for m3 tail lights
150=for the sunroof
90=for the m3 front bumper
subframe fix=free!
$970!!!
its commin along.....going to wasaga for may 24 first trip for the car hopefully it goes well!!

I put more money than that just to change my clutch..sound like you got a good deal.

lol ................i didnt take any!! it was bad tho 2 out of the 4 mounts were torn out and the 3rd was just starting.....that was how bad my camber was because of the subframe failure!

waitin for the bodyshop next to me to have some extra time to put it on for me....i would do it...but they can do it better lol plus im gettin the to prep n paint it as well

^^^you would be surprised how easy it is to put on.
1. take off the impact strips with your hands and a small flat head; be gentle. You'll find some nuts behind in the front.
2. undo 2 8mm cap screws in each front wheel well
3. undo screws from underneath the bumper where it attaches to the shrouds, and then pull
it really is that simple... I just repainted my front bumper, nose panel, and kidneys

Shit I better check my subframe then, my tires without rotation last about 10,000km.....cause of the camber....

And my tires are more then what you paid for your car and all your repairs and mods lol. Just pulling your leg. Nice job man at budgeting!!!

Read this thread it will show you, it's actually the plates for the subframe that let go and the subframe will go if not fixed. Which means $$$.
