help with suspension and wheels

hey guys, im ordering my suspension tommorrow. Im gettin bilstein sport shocks on H&R race springs. I just wanted to make sure that i would be able to fit 17x9 or 8 under my rear and 17x8 at the front. The car is a 95 318i, i know you cant fit alot under these cars, but ive seen some peoples car with a good width under there. I will probably be getting the BBS RGR wheels. Please help me out

width of the rims doesn't mean much without knowing the offset.
