e46 leathers in e36 ?

hey guys, i've been looking around at getting leather for my car, but by the looks of it, the only good condition leather with a killer price will be leathers out of an e46, so my question is, will it bolt up ? or am i gonna have to do some cuttin and hackin with the brackets ?

why not get your current seats reupholsterd?

i might have to do that to my rear seat as theres slight chemical damage (leather treatment went bad ass on my seat)

i might be getting recaros for the front soon, if i do my front seats will be up for sale, power, leather perfect condition for their age, no tears no fade and black

well actually its front seats and rear seats
but spooner has a good point, i just have to get off my lazy ass and go get some quotes and see some end products
i never really thought about it, i priced it out on katzkin once, it came out to like 680 USD (+installation) for a full leather interior reupholstered, but they dont have a dealer in canada, and i wanted to wire it up for power
has anybody tried to put in e46 seats in an e36 yet ?

nah nothing can save the seat, im farily positive its chemical burned. funny it says to test on a small area first, i did, was fine but now they fuged.

as for putting e46 seats in, im sure you could atleast do the fronts, youd have to rip out the old tracks put in new ones then put the seats in, the rear though, you would be best off waiting and looking till a good set comes along, or you get them reupholsterd.

I read the same post. They did fit, but it was tight to get the bolt holes lined up.
