Audio Experts help

Ok heres my question, since i got no idea about audio i need help

i have 2 rockford fosgate subs
the model is rfz2812 for the 2 subs

my question is.. im running a 600w amp from kenwood can my subs run sumthing higher? i wanna make them pound louder..

any info would help!! thanks in advance!

I just looked up the specifications for your subs below..

It says the recommended power handling (RMS) for them is 100watts, which your amp should be running to them (not sure if it is, need to know model of your amp)... so i dont think there is much you can do...i wouldnt try and push more power to them, if its already running at the (RMS) because bad things can happen when you over power subs.....i know

Lets assume your amps like mine 600w peak 400-500 (I forget the exact number) RMS for 1 channel 600w peak

150-200w for 2 channel RMS

If your subs are indeed 100 RMS then unless u like the smell of burning VC's I would not over push em

damn i hate this =(

i wanted more power.. putting these 2 subs will sound less loud... in this god damn big suv...

Those subs are ok for eurotrash music. For something with low bass(hip-hop, jungle etc.) you need more powerful subs.

about the only thing you can do without overpowering the subs power wise, is to put them in a bandpass box if you havnt already. they "sound" louder than a sealed box does. but they are not as clear and defined lows as a sealed box gives.
