How hot do these things get while they are running?
I have mine mounted on top of the air filter box (which was cool to the touch) but the ballast was quite hot.
Is this normal?
as far as i know i have e46 ballasts in my e30 and they never get hot. I don't think they are suppose to heat up at all, or at leat to the point where you can'[t touch them.
