Brullen Exhaust

Today I went to Thruway Mufflercentre and looked at the different exhausts they had there. I finally settled on a Brullen exhaust but the problem is its dual in and I know that my 318ti is single in. He told be that he can install a y-pipe to get around that problem but I asked if it would affect the backpressure and he said it would. My question is exactly how much will this rob my car of power? Also i was wondering if anyone has videos of Brullen exhausts because ive heard that they can be very loud.

brullen is long gone and warrenty can be an issue. besides, using a wrong connecting pipe can create a pressure problem.

i second that, y-pipe it and it'll run fine....it will probably sound great too!
Thruway is a great company to deal with as well. I've only dealt with the one on eglinton in scarborough mind you, but they helped me out huge with mandrel bending pipes for my s/c kit, and were very professional and helpful too.

Thanks for the advice guys. As soon as the car is back from paint im gonna get it installed and maybe make a video to show you how it sounds.

Hello buddy, I actually went to the same guy and installed a brullen too, they are nice guys, except I got a single tip.

Yeah i remember reading your thread when you talked about those guys. That was actually the main reason I went. Thanks for the video the exhaust sounds great.
