I can tell you from personal expierence and with dealing with Xtec that we have had no problems whatsoever with quality or with dealing with Jim at Xtec. When these kits are installed correctly there is a very low chance of mulfunction like anything out there they are not perfect. We even had an electrical engineer look at the kits before selling them. Xtec kits were by far the best made and engineered kits out there at the $1000 and under HID Kits. Take what you will from the net but my customers know I back the products I sell 100%. Everytime I sell a product I risk my personal reputation on them. I make sure before hand that the customer is going to be happy with them.

Thanks Adrian

How did your electrical engineer look at them?

Opened up the ballasts and bench tested them. I'm not an engineer so don't ask me exactly what he did that's why we sent them to him. We sent him other kits too however I do not want to disclose which other ones they were cause that would hamper the shops we deal with sales.

Sorry to jump on your thread, but I am about to purchase X-Tec HID kits soon. I am debating which ones to get (5000k or 6000k)
Some people who have the 6000k says it has better light output. Other say the 5000k looks too much like stock HIDs.
Those who have it with projectors, what color is yours? (k)?
I want to achieve a pure white light, with a HINT of blue. Not too much blue.
Some pics would be great

mech9T8 - X-Tec kits have life time warrenty.
