Exclamation coolant light strange and oil in intake?!

hi all, new here, FINAAALY I find a decent forum .

so i bought a 89 325i with 270,000k (ugh) for $2500, body was restored july 05 so i figure it was a great deal since all my previous cars were falling apart in that aspect.

since i have gotten the car, the coolant light will come on after 20-30min or so from cold start(previous owner did inform me before buying). if i turn the car off then start it again 10-20min later, it comes on sometimes right away as soon as i step on the gas or usually within 2 minutes of idle.
Can i remove the coolant lines going into the throttle body?

the car also came with 5.0l injectors (they are orange, probably doesnt mean anything), car idle bounced and smelt like gas all the time so i put the stock injectors back in. noticing alot of oil residing in the intake when i removed the intake tube to make space thinkin its probably pvc or somthing.
Can i just stick a breather on the valve cover?

any ideas, i did some searching, maybe i'm not searching for the right thing.
sorry ahead of time, i know this is alot of crap for a first post

ps. as for the rough idle and gas smell, i messed with the fuel regulator and car idle didnt change, maybe its faulty/shot. probably explains why it ran like crap.

i had a similar coolant light problem, try some of the coolant additives that stop leaks, that remedied mine, so far so good.
Check your oil also

I cant help you in regards to the injector question tho, srry

i guess i sould have found this board sooner lol, yes the dif in my car has a loud whine from the dif, altho it does sound kinda neat. gonna break soon ya think?.

i try not to bag on the car to hard, i save the abuse for my honda as its cheaper/easier to fix if i break it
sometimes i cant help it tho.

thanks all, one thing i did forget to mention was that when i went to change the injectors, none of the metal clips were on them and the plugs on the bar were not fully on the first 2 injectors.

i'm sure that caused some sort of problem. but still doesnt explain why it would flood if i dont start it on first keyturn sometimes. maybe the computer probably freaks out if it doesnt detect a load from the injectors or is intermittent.
