Very Dim LEDS on OBC(e30 87)

Guys, the LEDs on OBC is very dim (need flashlight to see at night), the units is working, is there anything i can do.... to rectify this problem??????

The over head unit or the one above the gear shift? If it's the one over the gear shift or below the radio it's a blown bulb.

The unit above uses LED's and the OBC has an LCD, I think you meant LCD.

It's the unit along side the radio(over gear shift), im referring to. Is it difficult to remove and replace.the bulb ???..

So that's the LCD back light bulb. Not that difficult but time consuming. I think they are two tiny bulbs which are soldered onto the circuit board.

Check this Ebay Item, I know it is expired but it has step by step instructions on how to change these bulbs.
