Have it for almost 3 months and am still amazed how well it drives. Big improvement over the E46.

I thought everyone was saying that it was alot softer than the E46 and that it drove more like an old man's benz than a BMW driver car???

NO, I think it drives better than the e46. That's what I found when I took one out.

doesn't it depend on the suspension option and which e46 suspension you're comparing it to?

looks like the non-sport package rims.. I have the sport package rims on mine and they're a different style..

I've never driven an E46, but the E90 was quite impressive. Probably handles as well as my E34 with its upgraded suspension.

Welcome to the E90 club. We now have 18000 trouble free kilometers and still love it. I hope you have snow tires on that thing as the stock tires are impossible in the snow.

As for comparing it to the E46, it really depends on the option packages. I drove a both back to back, with and without the sport package, preferring the E90 with sport overall.

Having driven all 3er's since the E30's and the E36/46/90 with sport packages........ they get better and better EVERY TIME!!!

The E90's are very impressive rides, the only complaints that i have is that the interior/dash is not up to my/bmw standards!

Congrats on the ride!

Mine is has the sport and premium package and yes I do have winters on the car.

It was horrible with the stock runflats in the snow.

The car is more refined, more room and the transmission is much better. I have driven many E46's and aside from the M3, the E90 is a superior car. BMW has raised the bar with this car.
