Sponsorship?
I think this board has more ppl with sponsorship than others.
anyways, to be quite honest, the Volvo project's costs is escalading while I'm taking a dump on the can. I'm just a student, even know my job pays extremely well for a student, its nothing to brag about compare to normal working peeps. I'm estimating $20k to get where I want before I start saving up for completely race car build up, but this yr I can only spend no more than $8k. Simply put it, I cannot afford to reach my goals in time. So I was wondering what does it take to get sponsor'd?
I know this sounds stupid, but there's a specific theme that I HAVE to keep it going on the car, I don't want a company put on R34 front end on my car, custom wings west bodykit, and I don't think I need huge amount of support, here are quick break down on what I'd like to get done.
stereo: go nuts, I have stock casette 20w stereo.
exterior: I need paint for S90 front end conversion along with custom front lip, and possible some fender flares.
suspension: that's taken care of, I've spent soo ****ing much on the custom coilover that I think its stupid. I'm sourcing S60R Brembo 13" brakes for the conversion.
engine: now its still 8v, but I'd like to do 16v conversion, I have most of the parts except head, which is $500 or so, but its the small details that adds up the cost, like machining, custom manifold, and need a bigger turbo. Management system and parts.
wheels/tires: I actually think this is the most expensive part.
so any inputs is appreciated.
