Nope sounds like Portuguese with Brazilian accent. They do have tons of crazy stuff happening in the Amazon Jungle  I used to live next to Brazil
Barbadoes is well known for huge real flying fish. Their official name is Flying Fish and that can be up to 2 feet long and fly higher than that.
So there we fish with a butterfly net  or shot gun
