Engine Question Help

What is needed to put a obd2 engine in a obd1 car, i know the engine fits and all that stuff, i mean wiring. Is it to do wit the ecu. I mean i am runnig standalone. So if it is about ecu problems all i ahve to do is run my standalone.

kit?????????? i have tec3 pnp standalone, i think i have to run a obd1 Harness and run the tec3 for a comp. i need a harness bc my harness is for a non vanos m50
