hey guys, i have a 1993 bmw 325i, has 197000 ilometres on it, just wonderin how much it would cost to rebuild the whole engine

I've never had it done to my bimmer, but i'd say prolly around the $2000 range

is the car running badly? my 1993 e36 has 230,000km and still pulls as hard as the day i bought it at 167,000km

personally, i'd wait until the car needs a rebuild to get it done, or unless you plan on modding the engine.

My engine was rebuild at about 250 000 (my car has always been driven hard by the second owner, and now gets her fair share with me. He rebuild the engine about 80 000 ago, and looking at his bills(well the ones i didnt loose) he paid about 2000 for parts, and then after was labour which he mention was about 1000, so here is a price to look at, about 3000
