Question back-up light diagnosis

What's the diagnostic procedure for a non-working backup light? I've heard it's a common problem.

Fuse 10 blown, because the reverse light wires in the tranny tunnel frayed/grounded out.

yep thats what happened to mine. fix the wires though if they are exposed
