My sister as a S70 T5, thing is nice and fast, and pretty reliable, she had it for about a year and half without any major malfunctions!

My 96 850 Turbo wagon has 280,000k on the clock and still pulls hard. Original motor, tranny and turbo. I highly reccommend them.

i cannot speak for the new Volvo's, but my dad is turning into a volvo maniac. He drives a 94 Volvo 940, 2.3 4 banger, that just hit 400 000km.!!!! He drives ALOT, especially on the highway, and the thing is a tank. He will be purchasing a Volvo again when this one goes.. Very good cars.
I am trying to convince him to get a BMW instead. lOl

I work for Volvo of Toronto downtown and from my experience they seem to be great cars. If your interested in buying one come down here and I'll have you looked after.
