According to that video, 6000RPM equals just under 260km/h.

With a 3.25 diff and 225/40/16 tires, that would dictate a gear ratio of around 0.79:1. I have no idea where you would find a BMW ratio that tall.

that intake manifold is from the pre82 models of 528i 530i,633,630,733. they will bolt on, but not on the newer style m30 head from 90-up.
so maybe this guy used an older 3.5 or even a 3.3 or even a 2.8 big six for that matter.
thats a lot of work to make the newer electronics off of the e34 3.5 work nicely with that intake manifold set up.
the conversions back then before m50 swaps were to use the big six motors (3.3 or 3.5) in the e30, using 1980-81 528i big six oil pan and custom mounts, and it will bolt on.
