Well, I was able to keep my cats (no leaks, cracks) and I just got a 2.25" pipe welded to it which dumps out the back. No muffler. Honestly, it's pretty quiet cruising. It does drone though at 110km/h though, I don't know what RPM, my tach is dead, but it's at the same RPM in every gear under load. At cruising at 140km/h it sounds like I have a full stock exhaust, muffler and all.

For an $80, I'm very happy.

Some of my friends always though my eta sounded like a big street bike
comeing around the corner with when it had no muffler. Real smooth sounding but loud if you get on it.
