H6W bulbs?
hey guys and girls.
Happy New Year to all Max Members!!! Just a quick question for any of the lighting gurus on here. I have a newer set of inpro ellipsoids and I need to find some H6W bulbs. Anybody heard of these? The only place I found with them was in the UK. Maybe someone knows of somewhere closer? Thanks everybody. Dave

the H6W bulbs are for the angel eyes that are built into the headlights. The city lights take a 194 wedge style bulb, and hi and lo beams are h1. I tried part source and crappy tire to no avail. I found some Phillips bluevision ones on ebay, from the UK. I might just order them and be done with it. I'll probably try a vw dealership first though. Thanks guys....

well its kinda far for you, but its a chinese mall at kennedy/steeles.
edit: you kno what, I think BMW might carry them. My car uses a bulb that looks extremely similar to that for the map lights

As Gamite said, the dealership has it.
X5, and the E65/E66 7-Series BMW's all use H6W's for their parking lights. It is a bulb that is only started to get used recently, so there isn't much aftermarket support for it yet.

The peanut bulb in your car is the same as our map reading lights on the 3-series... I think though the bulbs look the same, the notches on the side are different, no?
