solve my problems and win..

nothing.. hahaha

OOK I a little confused..

1.I had my right rear caliper replaced and ever since, everytime i slow down my brakes squeel and its really annoying.grrr!

2. and also my ebrake sucks!! it feels like only the left side is kicking in? I have heard you guys talk about a really weird ebrake design but where the hell is it?? is it one of those disc/drum setups?

3. My belts squeel a bit, is there a belt tensioner that i could tighten them up a little??

4. I just got a set of hubcaps for my e30, Should I paint them Matte black( but obvy leave the logo) what are your opinions on this? i think it may look good sincemy car is dark blue

5. Does anyone have a heat shielf for their intake? I somehow lost mine

6.Also, if you could find me a nice girlfriend i would be very happy.. **cough e30girl cough** hahaha

Any help would be great!

Cheeeeeers guys!!
Jamie

1. Pads were put in without antisqueek backing.
2. ebrakes do require maintainance and adjustment.
3. The AC, PS, and main belts all have adjusters.
4. Hubcaps? No.
5. Make your own.
6. She isn't attractive, and drives a rusted to hell e30. Aim a little higher man.

This thread is to discuss Wannabe3's vehicle problems. e30_girl is a lovely girl, taken by a very lucky Randy. End of story. Keep comments in here vehicle related. I'm cleaning this up.

Jordan, your opinions are welcome, however, keep them vehicle related, and tasteful. If you would like to discuss this further, feel free to PM me. Thanks.

e30_girl has always been pleasant in all her posts, where as you're being a prick.

plus, newsflash. Your car isn't fresh off the showroom floor either. get in line
Could anyone explain antisqueek backing? my brakes squeek a bit too (rotors and pads are new, less than 1000Km's on em)

The squeeking is generally the pad vibrating against the caliper. The backing is a adheasive paste or spray that stops it from moving around.

You can buy anti-squeal "compound" from Cdn tire for a few bucks a tube.

It comes in a little bottle, it's blue, and you have to let it get tacky before you reinstall the pads. Works wonders.
