I'm actually switching to them. they are a lot cheaper than my other company. They said that if you have 4 years and under of driving experience then they will cancel your coverage on the 2nd ticket or accident. 5 years and over I think you get 1 more. I remember a few years ago they wouldn't even insure you if you had a ticket but I guess they changed

And their online quote is very close to the quote they give you when you call them. I think it was off by $10-20 a month

looking at that place gave me good rates when i called the top 10 places, every single company said they no longer offer that rate, or the price has changed or they are no longer accepting new clients,

insurancehotline.com is pure bullshit

Well, with almost any insurance company, you'll pay a hefty premium for mods... if you have serious mods like NOS then most won't insure you. Best to not claim any mods beforehand and hope that you don't get in an accident.

WHy would you cage a street car anyway?

I am with them, and I think they are great. I have been with a few different company's, and have found BelAir to be the best.

Their service is top notch. I have gone through them with a couple of claims. Neither one being my fault, each one was very quick. I called them up and imediatly got a response of "go get the car fixed, get a rental car, and we will take care of it"

for one of the claims, the person that hit me, their insurance company tried to claim a 50/50 bulshit, so I told BelAir that there is no way that it should be a 50/50, and they ended up fighting for me, and 100% went to the person that hit me.

The next renewal after those claims....my insurance rates went down. You can't beat that.

BelAir is Top on my list, and I won't be switching away from them any time soon. In fact, I will soon be switching my home insurance to them as well.

Sweet thanks for posting that makes me feel much better

Edit: On a side note, I'm the ONLY and the primary driver on my car. My mom, who is with another company, is the primary and only driver on her car.

If say I get my mom to change to bel air, can we keep it like this, or will they force us to become secondary drivers on each others cars ?

Then you didnt look good enough.

For the same car, same drivers, same history my bro's car was 800 bucks a month at Allstate and at Statefarm it was 250.
It was 4 years ago, but the fact is, insurance can vary by a lot.

Uh... I never said it doesn't vary by a lot. I said IT DOES vary by a lot. It just doesn't vary that often in the low range. In my experience most companies will give you about the same rate, you'll eventually find the one that will give you the best. But there will be some that will quote you ridiculous amounts.

No prob.

If you keep your own policy number, then you will still remain primary driver on your car and vice versa for your mom's car. I think. If she goes under your policy, then I'm not sure how that works. but usually if there are 2 drivers for 2 cars, then each driver is a primary on a car.
