Bluetooth

Where would I find a crack for bluetooth? I want to send songs to my new phone without having to buy the flashcard reader thingy.

I heard you can also send downloadable ringtones and such.

you have to crack your phone, not your bluetooth.. telus right? look on howardforums, i tried to find out for my friend, but it was too much hassle than it's worth. Get a real phone\provider

Ya I don't think you can "crack" your Bluetooth to do this...what about sending the songs Over the Air? You'll probably still have to pay though.

verizon\telus "locks" the bluetooth on certain bluetooth phones to restrict connections between two phones, or a PC, but leaves it open for headsets etc. This is to force you to use their own OTA ringtone service...

This bluetooth stuff scares me.

They say that cell phones cause cancer, and now with bluetooth, its just MORE infared waves traveling through/near your body, and with something like a bluetooth headset, whith the phone in your pocket.... people will start developing brain tumors in their testicles!!!

Bluetooth is a protocol. You can buy a bluetooth USB module at Best Buy or Futureshop.

You are probably picking up more electromagnetic radiation from your computer screen or television than from a bluetooth headset..

Thats true, i never said i didn't WANT a bluetooth headset, just kinda freaky strapping all those 'bad' cell phone waves right to the side of your head, while the phone is rubbing against your nut inside your pocket!

there's more radiation from the cell phone next to your head than the bluetooth.. so you're minimizing the radiation

hahaha

I try not to use my cyborg headset too much, as the radiation is probably less than the actual cell phone, but still, I'll try to avoid it whenever I can.
