Got everything buttoned up this evening.

Damn does the car RIP now. Exhaust note is B-E-A UTIFUL.

I only drove it 3miles from the shop to home, but damn. Pulls much harder throughout the rpm band, particularly better up high. I have to replace #5E eccentric as the valve stem was ground a touch too much by my machinest. I will toss a oversize one on there and all will be good! Current valve adjustment is .010, with the loose one at .018 (very noisy)

Kristin was following me home and told me when I go WOT "You dump out black stinky smoke out of your exhaust, it smells like rotten eggs!" Heh... I run rich, but should be able to dial that back now as detonation is completely gone. Rotten egg smell is Sulfur of course, not being clensed in the non existant cats.

My stock exhaust and "eh" head were really holding this motor back. I can't wait to replace the loose eccentric and get this on the dyno for retuning!

Its tight, but not too bad. With a gloved hand it can be removed hot without an issue. Already tried.

I love gloves. I can't beleive I've worked so long without them.

Congrats on the new motor, make sure you have lots of fun on the track!

Curious to see what power it makes now...

I wish we had LHD cars here, then we could also have beautiful headers like that
